This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") is issued by Orbtickets LLC, operating under the brand name lowpricecarrental.com (hereinafter referred to as "the Company," "We," "Us," or "Our"). This Policy governs the terms, conditions, and procedures under which a User may request the cancellation or amendment of a reservation made through Our Services and defines the corresponding refund entitlements and administrative obligations.
1.1 Intermediary Status: The Company operates exclusively as an online reservation platform and aggregator. We facilitate the booking of vehicle rental services offered, managed, and supplied by independent, third-party vehicle rental companies ("Third-Party Rental Providers").
1.2 Primary Terms: This Policy must be read in conjunction with the specific terms and conditions of the Third-Party Rental Provider selected at the time of booking.
1.3 Limitation of Liability: The Company’s liability regarding cancellations and refunds is strictly limited to the handling and administration of reservation data and any initial payments made directly to Us. The actual fulfillment of the rental service and vehicle availability remain the sole responsibility of the Third-Party Rental Provider.

By making a reservation, the User acknowledges that the Rental Provider’s policy may be more restrictive and will determine the ultimate refund eligibility.
3.1 Fully Prepaid Reservations
Cancellations made within the Rental Provider’s free cancellation window are generally eligible for a refund, minus the Company’s non-refundable administrative fee. Late cancellations may result in penalties of up to the full rental amount.
3.2 Partial Prepayment / Deposit Reservations
Deposits and service fees are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking.
3.3 Non-Refundable / Restricted Rates
Special promotional, early bird, or last-minute rates are strictly non-refundable, regardless of cancellation timing.
3.4 Pay at Counter Reservations
For bookings where no payment is collected by the Company, all cancellation fees and refunds are governed solely by the Rental Provider.
4.1. Method of Cancellation: All cancellations must be processed through the Company's customer service channels (email or phone) or the "Manage My Booking" feature on lowpricecarrental.com. Cancellations made directly with the Rental Provider (at the counter or via their own website) without notifying the Company may result in a failure to process any eligible refund.
4.2. Company Administrative Fee: To cover the costs of technology, payment processing, and customer support, the Company reserves the right to charge a non-refundable administrative fee (typically between $25 and $75 USD, depending on the booking value) for any cancellation or refund request. This fee is deducted from the total refund amount before it is issued to the User.
4.3. Calculation of Refund: The total refund issued to the User is calculated as follows: Total Amount Paid – (Rental Provider Penalty) – (Company Administrative Fee) = Total Refund Issued.
5.1. Amendment Requests: Users may request modifications to their reservation (e.g., change of dates, pickup location, or vehicle category). All modifications are subject to the current market rates and the availability of the Rental Provider.
5.2. Rate Fluctuations: If an amendment results in a lower rental price, the Company will refund the difference minus a modification administrative fee. If the amendment results in a higher price, the User must pay the difference to secure the update.
5.3. Timing of Amendments: Most Rental Providers do not allow modifications within 24 to 48 hours of the pickup time. In such cases, the User may have to cancel the original booking (subject to penalties) and create a new one.
6.1. Definition of a No-Show: A "No-Show" occurs when:
6.2. No-Show Consequences: In the event of a No-Show, the Rental Provider typically charges a "No-Show Fee" equal to the full rental cost or a significant portion thereof. The Company will not issue any refund for No-Show scenarios.
6.3. Flight Delays: If a User is late due to a flight delay, it is their responsibility to contact the Rental Provider directly using the number provided on the voucher. While many providers hold cars for delayed flights if a flight number was provided, the Company cannot guarantee vehicle availability or refundability in the event of a missed pickup.
7.1. Verification: Once a refund request is received, the Company must verify the cancellation status and penalty amount with the Third-Party Rental Provider. This verification process typically takes 3 to 5 business days.
7.2. Issuance: Approved refunds are issued back to the original form of payment used at the time of booking.
7.3. Credit Back to Account: Depending on the User's financial institution, it may take an additional 7 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in the User’s account. The Company has no control over the internal processing speeds of banks or credit card issuers.
Any disputes regarding the calculation of a refund or the application of fees must be directed to our customer support team at [email protected]. If a resolution cannot be reached through our internal review process, the dispute shall be governed by the Mandatory Arbitration and Governing Law clauses set forth in the Company’s primary Terms of Use and Service Agreement.
